Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Mengo platform, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Mengo (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including any API keys you configure within the platform. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Service Description

Mengo provides an AI-powered agent platform for ecommerce businesses. The Service includes automated research, content generation, competitor monitoring, outreach, and related features. The Service runs on the OpenClaw runtime and integrates with third-party AI providers using your own API keys.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • Subscription fees are billed monthly at the rate displayed at the time of your sign-up.
  • Early access members lock in their pricing for the lifetime of their continuous subscription.
  • AI usage costs are billed directly to you by the respective AI providers through your own API keys. Mengo does not mark up API costs.
  • All fees are non-refundable except as described in our 14-day refund policy below.

5. 14-Day Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 14 days of your subscription, you may request a full refund — no questions asked. After 14 days, subscriptions are non-refundable but you may cancel at any time to prevent future charges.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. There are no cancellation fees, lock-in periods, or penalties. If you resubscribe later, your early access pricing (if applicable) will be honored.

7. API Keys & Third-Party Services

The Service requires you to provide your own API keys from third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic). You are solely responsible for:

  • Compliance with third-party provider terms of service.
  • Any costs incurred through your API usage.
  • Keeping your API keys secure and confidential.

We encrypt your API keys at rest and use them solely to execute agent tasks on your behalf. We are not liable for any actions taken by third-party AI providers.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.
  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or deceptive content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service in any way that could harm, disable, or impair it.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service (excluding your data) are owned by Mengo and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you provide to the Service. You grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

Content generated by your AI agent on your behalf belongs to you, subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated outputs will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mengo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Mengo harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mengo operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
